Autonomous vehicle delivers tests between buildings in First City hospital, Moscow

The MosTransProekt autonomous MEV has been driving on the territory of the First City Hospital for 2 months and delivering tests between buildings. It has already done the following:

  • Moved about 800 containers with biomaterial samples;
  • In total, the car drove over 300 km on the hospital’s territory;
  • Daily the autonomous MEV makes 8 trips 1 kilometer each, which is 40 kilometers per working week.

The autonomous vehicle had high praises from the hospital staff. Previously, nurses had to walk an average of 10,000 steps to deliver tests between different buildings. Now they don’t have to deal with potentially dangerous goods and have more time to devote to patients.
